High-quality cement is the most essential material in all construction projects.  Mongolia currently imports the majority of its cement from China, resulting in high cement prices for Mongolia's booming construction industry.  Mongolian cement prices have doubled in the past three years as supply struggles to meet the ever-increasing demand.  APIP entered the cement industry in 2006, seeing a profitable opportunity to provide a lower cost, higher quality cement than the imported cement currently on the market.  We operate one of three major cement plants in the country, and the only one in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, where the majority of construction projects take place.  Our team has experience in cement production, research and development, marketing, and sales.  We maintain the highest standards for the quality of our cement, and operate the only ISO 9000-certified laboratory in the country, ensuring that all of our products meet or exceed international standards.  We are continuing to expand our plant and increase production in order to keep pace with the growing demand for cement in Mongolia.
